Oh what folly!
To think of my prince,
Looking toward me,
With warm and adoring eyes,
Speaking in those soothing tones,
Laughing in that earthy way…
His eyes twinkling…
He is my perfect one,
His hair is thick and rich,
Black like a raven’s feathers
The soft tresses like a whisper
Blowing gently in the wind
Such broad and strong shoulders
Like a soldier in a royal army,
ready to fulfil duty with bravery.
That is my prince
His eyes are of endless depth
Soft and king,
Reinding me of a sweet vision
No malice or hardness
Just a promise to listen
To hold when tears flow
How would I know?
I have not seen beyond his face
His heart is unknown
Still…
I cannot give up the feeling.
That his heart is mine
And mine is his.
He is a song in my heart
The rhythm to my pulse
H hear his voice in me
His name resounds
Like an unending echo
Bliss multiplied over and over
Every step and sway
is a thought of his countenance.
